Painted in 1974 by Rudolf H Buenz, this watercolor features a trout jumping from a rocky stream in his usual, somewhat impressionist style. As one of Buenz’ many wildlife scenes, it reflects his love of fly fishing and captures a fleeting moment of nature.

The exact origin of this painting is unknown until it was purchased at auction from a Vermont estate in 2024. The painting is being re-framed to be enjoyed once more in a new home.
